میدان نقش جهان میدان بزرگی در شهر اصفهان در کشور ایران است که توسط ساختمان‌های دوره صفوی محصور شده‌است. مسجد امام یا مسجد شاه (مسجد جامع عباسی) یکی از مساجد میدان نقش جهان اصفهان است و مربوط به دوره صفوی است و از بناهای مهم معماری اسلامی ایران به‌شمارمی‌رود. این بنا شاهکاری جاویدان از معماری، کاشی‌کاری و نجاری در قرن یازدهم هجری است. مسجد شاه در ضلع جنوبی میدان امام قرار دارد در سال ۱۰۲۰ هجری به فرمان شاه‏ عباس اول در بیست و چهارمین سال سلطنت وی شروع شده و تزئینات و الحاقات آن در دوره جانشینان او به اتمام رسیده است. - The Shah Mosque Masjed-e Shāh is a mosque in Isfahan, Iran standing in south side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Built during the Safavid period, it is an excellent example of Islamic architecture of Iran, and regarded as the masterpiece of Persian Architecture. The Shah Mosque of Esfahan is one of the everlasting masterpieces of architecture in Iran and all over the world. It is registered along with the Naghsh-i Jahan Square as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its construction began in 1611, and its splendor is mainly due to the beauty of its seven-color mosaic tiles and calligraphic inscriptions.

باغ پرندگان زیباترین مرکز تفریحی شهر اصفهان است که برای اولین بار در کشور به همت شهرداری اصفهان احداث گردیده است. مساحت داخل باغ پرندگان حدود 17000 متر مربع می باشد که بیش از پنج هزار نوع پرنده از کشورهای مختلف در آن زندگی می کنند. در این باغ انواع برکه برای پرندگان آبچر، قفس های شیشه‌ای با امکانات ویژه برای پرندگانی که زندگی در هوای سرد زمستان اصفهان برای آنها امکان پذیر نیست، قفس های فلزی برای پرندگان شکاری که به دلیل نوع تغذیه امکان رهایی آنها در باغ وجود ندارد، صخره برای پرندگان مناطق سنگلاخی و بیابانی، فضای سبز و پردرخت برای پرندگان مناطق جنگلی در نظر گرفته شده است. -

مسجد شیخ لطف‌ الله (ساخته شده در ۱۶۰۲ - ۱۶۱۹ میلادی) یکی از زیباترین آثار تاریخی اصفهان در ضلع شرقی میدان نقش جهان و مقابل عمارت عالی‌قاپو واقع شده. شماری از کاشیکاری‌های معرق درون و بیرون گنبد و کتیبه‏های خط ثلث آن به خط علی‌رضای تبریزی عباسی است. - Sheikh Lotf Allah Mosque is one of the architectural masterpieces of Safavid Iranian architecture, standing on the eastern side of Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Isfahan, Iran. The mosque was built in 1615 by the orders of Shah Abbas I of the Safavid dynasty. The architect finished construction of the mosque in 1618. The mosque was used as a prayer hall as well as a lecture hall. Oviously in 1618 there were no microphones,to fix this problem the architects created the dome in such a manner that if a needle drops you can hear it loud and clear.
